Living Loop

A Living Loop is a format created by Signal Art: a two-hour programme of original songs in which one character lives inside a world built for that album, shown as a seamless moving film that runs for the whole programme. The music, the character and the world are made together, so the album plays like one long scene.

Many of these programmes are Living Loops, a format created by Signal Art. One character lives inside a world built for that album, and the film moves without a seam for the whole two hours. Elara walks through the dark tribal rituals of Ashen Rite 3 and Basalt Drum. Corvina holds the chant of Bamboo Cathedral and Obsidian Hymn. Lyra carries the intimate vocal house of Quiet Return. The character is not decoration. She is the reason the music feels like a place.

Every Living Loop programme

A Living Loop is not a visual song. Visual songs are single songs drawn from one work of art.
