The Clock Won't Forget (Part I)

Signal Art · A closer reading

A clock outside ordinary time

The Clock Won't Forget, Part I, opens a smaller door into the Dalí-inspired world of stubborn remembrance.

The soft clock refuses the useful promise that time moves evenly and leaves finished things behind. As a song within Dali Special, it invites a reading of memory as a duration the body keeps alongside the calendar.

This excerpt can be heard as a moment inside that larger vigil. Its question is less how to restore a clock than how to remain tender without asking a life to stop with it.

A question to carry: Which part of your past keeps a different time from the rest of your life?
